Dallas Cowboys Roster Moves: Hendershot & Fehoko Updates – NFL Tracker

The Dallas Cowboys are largely healthy for Week 11 at the Carolina Panthers that they’ve got to make some moves to squeeze people in. … and not everybody is getting in.

The club added linebacker Rashaan Evans to the 53-man roster with the possibility he could eat up some snaps now that Leighton Vander Esch is out for the year.

To make room for Evans, rookie defensive lineman Viliami Fehoko has been moved to IR with a knee injury that sort of popped up conveniently.

And not quite making it up is tight end Peyton Hendershot. Hendershot, who had his 21-day window activated this week.

Not considered call-up candidates at this time for Dallas are recent veteran practice-squad signees Martavis Bryant and Carl Davis.

NOV 17 PETERS FINDS NEW HOME Longtime NFC East rival and brief Dallas Cowboy Jason Peters has found a possible retirement home: per his agency Elite Loyalty Sports, the 41-year-old Peters is set to remain with the Seattle Seahawks for the remainder of the season, after moving on and off their practice squad over the past few weeks.

Peters has built a sterling Hall of Fame resume through 19 NFL seasons, 11 of which were spent with Dallas’ fierce rivals from Philadelphia. He joined up with the Cowboys last season and made 12 appearances, including one start.

NOV 14 JOSEPH CUT Kelvin Joseph got his second NFL chance – a fresh start – earlier this year when he was traded by the Dallas Cowboys to Miami.

But the former second-round pick second chance did not work out as on Tuesday he has been cut by the Dolphins.
