Knoxville, TN – In a significant development for the Tennessee Volunteers’ recruiting efforts, four-star offensive lineman Brandon Anderson has reaffirmed his commitment to the program. Anderson’s renewed pledge is a major boon for the Vols, who are building momentum on the recruiting trail.
Anderson, a 6-foot-4, 335-pound lineman from Georgia, initially committed to Tennessee in June 2024. However, he subsequently reopened his recruitment, sparking concerns among Vols fans. After taking visits to other schools, including Georgia and Alabama, Anderson has ultimately decided to stick with his original commitment.
“I’m all Vol,” Anderson tweeted, accompanied by a photo of himself in Tennessee gear. “I’m excited to be part of the Tennessee family and can’t wait to get to work with Coach Heupel and the rest of the coaching staff.”
Anderson’s commitment is a significant coup for Tennessee, which has been prioritizing the recruitment of top linemen. His addition bolsters the Vols’ 2025 recruiting class, which already features several highly touted prospects, including five-star quarterback Nico Iamaleava and four-star cornerback Jacoby Hopson.
“Brandon is a talented lineman with a strong work ethic and a passion for the game,” said Tennessee Head Coach Josh Heupel. “We’re thrilled to have him back on board and look forward to seeing him contribute to our program.”
Anderson’s commitment is expected to provide an instant boost to Tennessee’s offensive line, which has been a focal point of the team’s recruiting efforts. With Anderson on board, the Vols are well-positioned to build a formidable unit in the trenches.
