Vikings Making BIG SIGNINGS This Offseason With $78 MM To Spend …

The Minnesota Vikings are indeed making some notable moves this offseason, with $78 million to spend. They’ve recently signed 13 players to reserve/futures contracts for the 2025 season.¹ ² These signings include:

– *Quarterback*: Brett Rypien, who was on Minnesota’s 53-man roster for the regular season before being waived and signed to the practice squad.

– *Running Back*: Zavier Scott, who joined the practice squad prior to the season but wasn’t elevated for a game.

– *Linebacker*: Max Tooley, who joined Minnesota’s practice squad in September but didn’t play in a game.

– *Cornerbacks*: Kahlef Hailassie and Reddy Steward, both of whom have NFL experience with the Browns and Bears, respectively.

These signings are likely aimed at bolstering the team’s depth and competition for the upcoming season. However, it’s worth noting that the Vikings have also lost some key players in free agency, including pass rusher Danielle Hunter, who signed with the Houston Texans.³
