Two people died and one was critically injured after a multi-vehicle crash in Hardin County Thursday afternoon.
Two vehicles hit each other nearly head-on around 4:15 p.m. on Highway 128 near Ridge Road, about half way between Pickwick and Savannah, Hardin County Fire Chief Melvin Martin said.
A third vehicle was also involved in the incident, with another person suffering minor injuries.
Martin said the critically injured individual was taken to a hospital in Hardin County. The individual was not airlifted because of weather.
