Three people died following an overnight house fire in Pulaski County.
The fire happened at a home in Somerset.
The fire started at approximately 2 a.m. Tuesday. Someone driving by noticed it and subsequently called for help.
They also said they noticed a man running outside who was able to get out of the home.
Firefighters from at least three departments responded and were able to control the fire.
The victims were Norma Dean Putteet, 78, Jerry Todd Putteet, 55 and Brilee Putteet, 17.
There was also a fourth person involved in the fire. Brian Lee Putteet, 53, was airlifted to a burn facility in Louisville.
“Just feel really sorry for the family. I’ve done this for a really long time,” said Keith Price, Pulaski County Deputy Coroner. “I have been in emergency services for 40 years here. And I’ve seen a lot of it. It’s really tragic for the family. For the rest of the family to try to pick up and go on.”

The cause of the fire is being investigated but officials said it likely started in the lower portion of the home, which is where the damage was at its worst.
Officials told WYMT that Brilee Putteet was a student at Southwestern High School.
Grief counselors were called in to help students at the school on Tuesday.
