Tennessee Basketball Predicted to Face Intriguing Scorer in March Madness Bracket k

With the college football offseason officially underway, all eyes are on the Tennessee Volunteers basketball program to potentially make a deep run in the 2025 NCAA tournament. The latest March Madness bracketology predictions offer good news for the Vols men’s basketball team.

Tennessee is widely projected to be a No. 2 seed with plenty of time to make a run at at one of the four top spots. The Vols have an opportunity to gain ground like few other programs with five of the team’s next six games against ranked opponents.

ESPN Joe Lunardi’s latest bracket projections has Tennessee as the No. 2 seed in the West Region.

Tennessee would face the No. 15 Bryant Bulldogs in the opening round of the NCAA tournament based on Lunardi’s projections. The 12-9 squad is led by a pure scorer in Rafael Pinzon

The 6-foot-6 guard is averaging 18.3 points per game this season. Pinzon is coming off a 30-point performance versus the Binghamton Bearcats. It marked Pinzon’s third outing with 30 or more points this college basketball season.

Lunardi projects the following programs to be No. 1 seeds in his March Madness bracket: Auburn Tigers, Duke Blue Devils, Alabama Crimson Tide and Iowa State Cyclones. Tennessee would be in the same West Region as Iowa State.

The SEC leads the way with 13 teams predicted to make the NCAA tournament.
