Andy Scott, the guitarist and backing vocalist of the British glam rock band Sweet, is still alive and active in the music industry. Born on June 30, 1949, in Wrexham, Wales, Scott has been touring with his version of Sweet, featuring Paul Manzi on lead vocals, Lee Small on bass guitar and vocals, Tom Cory on guitars, keyboards, and vocals, and Adam Booth on drums and percussion.
Recently, Scott has been touring in support of Sweet’s new studio album, “Full Circle”, released in September 2024. In an interview, Scott mentioned that this might be their last tour, but they might still do some gigs. He’s also exploring the use of AI to take the band into the future.

As the last surviving original member of Sweet following Steve Priest’s passing in 2020, Scott remains committed to keeping the band’s legacy alive.³
