Minnesota Vikings round 2025 NFL Mock Draft: Explosive pass rusher falls to create ultimate NASCAR package
We are heading into championship weekend with just four teams left competing to win a Super Bowl. The Minnesota Vikings have come up short of making the Super Bowl every season since 1976. They lost the Super Bowl that year to the Oakland Raiders.
As things sit going into the 2025 season, the Vikings are theoretically closer to making the Super Bowl now than they have been in years. Can they take the next step? Only time will tell, but the next step forward in that process is going to be with the NFL Draft.
In our first 7-round mock draft, we gave the Vikings Ole Miss DT Walter Nolen, and this one took a slightly different direction.
24. Shemar Stewart, EDGE, Texas A&M
This mock draft didn’t fall the Vikings’ way to get a player that fills a dire need. However, free agency is likely to fill a lot of the holes on the Vikings roster. Once you have those holes filled, it’s all about getting really good football players.
97. Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State
The running back position is one that the Vikings need to upgrade immediately. They are likely to bring back Aaron Jones, but he’s not the guy for a long term. Cam Akers is in the same boat and the organization seems to have soured on Ty Chandler.
Judkins just finished a National Championship campaign with the Buckeyes and he’s a powerful runner. Judkins thrives in between the tackles with his low center of gravity and enough juice to break off long runs.
