Crews responded to a massive fire on Lake Cumberland on Monday.
The fire broke out at the Conley Bottom Resort in Wayne County around 2:30 a.m
Firefighters said at least three buildings were already engulfed when they were called.
Right now, there are no reports of injuries.
Conley Bottom is a resort that rents houseboats. They also have waterfront lodging, a campground and several restaurants.
No information has been released on what sparked the fire.
Freddie Piercy, who co-owns the resort, said staff will rebuild the property this fall. In the meantime, they plan to construct a small, makeshift shop so they can continue operating over the summer.
“We didn’t lose any private boats and we didn’t lose any of our rentals,” Piercy said. “So we’ll have a makeshift office by Friday.”
