Lady Vols’ Kim Caldwell gives birth to baby boy
Tennessee Athletics announced Lady Vols head coach Kim Caldwell gave birth Thursday.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Kim Caldwell, head coach of the Lady Vols basketball team, gave birth to her first child Thursday.
Tennessee Athletics told WVLT News that Caldwell did not travel with the team to Austin, Texas for their game.
“She and husband Justin are the proud parents of a new son, Conor Scott Caldwell,” officials said. “Mom, dad and baby are doing well.”
The university said assistant coach Jenna Burdette will take over until Caldwell returns.
