Authorities identified the victims in a small plane that crashed in southern Kentucky.
Investigators said the victims are Dominic and Dr. Dianne Giammetta, of Bettendorf, Iowa.
Authorities said Dominic, known as Don, was the pilot.
Federal Aviation Administration spokeswoman Kathleen Bergen said the Beechcraft Bonanza crashed in Hopkinsville at about 12:30 p.m. CDT Friday.
She said the wreckage was spread over a wide area.
According to local officials, nobody on board survived the crash.
