Former Tennessee Vols Linebacker Returns to the Volunteer State, Joins Tennessee Titans Front Office
The Tennessee Titans have announced the addition of former Tennessee Vols linebacker Kevin Burnett to their front office. Burnett, a veteran of the NFL, will bring his expertise and passion for football to the Titans’ organization.
A Familiar Face Returns
Kevin Burnett, a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, had a standout career as a linebacker for the Tennessee Vols from 2000 to 2004. During his time at UT, Burnett was a two-time All-SEC selection and helped lead the Vols to two bowl victories.
NFL Experience
After his collegiate career, Burnett was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He went on to play eight seasons in the NFL, suiting up for the Cowboys, San Diego Chargers, Miami Dolphins, and Oakland Raiders. Burnett’s experience as a player will undoubtedly serve him well in his new role with the Titans.
Front Office Role
As a member of the Titans’ front office, Burnett will be responsible for scouting and evaluating talent, as well as assisting with roster management and player development. His knowledge of the game, combined with his passion for the Volunteer State, make him an excellent fit for the Titans’ organization.
