GOLDSBORO, N.C. — A man was killed in a crash in Wayne County Wednesday.
According to the State Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 4:23 p.m. on Tommy’s Road between Wayne Memorial Drive and N.C. Highway 111 North.
Troopers said the car crossed the center line, ran off the road and overcorrected. That’s when the car struck a ditch and overturned.
The driver, later identified as Michael Lynn Mozingo of Goldsboro, then drove the vehicle right, hit a ditch and overturned.
Troopers said Mozingo’s family has been notified.
