According to the Pulaski County Coroner’s Office, Danny Jasper, 71, of Somerset, died Wednesday morning in the crash.
An investigation is underway after a deadly crash in Pulaski County Wednesday morning.
According to the Somerset Fire Department, the crash happened around 6:40 a.m. Wednesday on U.S. Highway 27 near Norwood Road.
Authorities said a pickup truck crashed into a tractor-trailer. The driver of the pickup truck was reportedly killed.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt, per the SFD.
The fire department confirmed the roadway would be closed for several hours and encouraged commuters to find alternative routes. The road has since reopened.
