Two teenagers die in an Idaho crash on the last day of a “no speed limit” driving event.

A car crash that happened early on Saturday morning at the Sun Valley Tour de Force, a “No Speed Limit” car event, left two people injured over the weekend in Sun Valley, Idaho. The organization posted on Facebook that it had canceled all remaining events as a show of respect for the victims.

The Blaine County Sheriff’s Office posted on X that as authorities assisted with the mishap, Highway 75 was temporarily closed. The Idaho Mountain Express reports that the implicated vehicle was a Porsche that went into collision close to the highway’s official finish line.

The Emergency scanner traffic confirmed that the vehicle fall in the Big Wood River west of Highway 75, Idaho Mountain Express reported. A family member of the driver indicated on social media that the two passengers were “alive, but severely injured,” East Idaho News reported.

After a “difficult day for all involved,” Sun Valley Tour de Force thanked the public on Facebook on Sunday for their support of the passengers. “Your outpouring of support to the family injured, the offers of donations, and so much more, is a testament to the strength and resilience of our Sun Valley Tour de Force family,” the organization wrote in a letter.
