Following a deadly collision on the Palisades Parkway in Haverstraw, the New York State Police are conducting an investigation. About three in the morning on Sunday, the driver of a 2021 Hyundai, according to the police, was heading north when it veered off the road and struck a tree close to Exit 13.
The SUV was torn in half by the impact. Chevy Thomas, 36, was allegedly declared dead at the scene by the authorities.
