Motorcyclist dies from injuries in Oxford County police pursuit and crash

A man was seriously injured in a van and electric bike crash. Lonnie Charette was taken to Northern Maine Medical Center after suffering severe injuries. His condition was listed as critical. No injuries sustained by the van driver Ian Bourgoin, a 32-year-old St. Francis resident, was the driver of the 2017 Dodge Caravan. He was not hurt. Chef Michael DeLena of Fort Kent Police claimed that Bourgoin stopped at the intersection of Market Street and West Market Street while riding an electric bike and van. The bike was heading south when the van pulled out in front of it. When the vehicle entered the stream of traffic, it was trying to go north.
