5 people, including 4 from metro Atlanta, killed in south Georgia crash on I-75 identified

Five individuals in their teens and 20s have been confirmed by the Georgia State Patrol as the victims of a deadly crash that occurred in south Georgia.

Investigators discovered that a tractor-trailer was stopped on the right shoulder of the road and that an automobile was operating in the central lane. Ephira Oddum, 19, of Riverdale; Serigne Mbodji, 22, of Atlanta; Dawan Nation, 19, of Dallas, Georgia; Aliyah Miles, 21, of Snellville; and Christopher Dennis, 21, of Hinesville, have been identified as the individuals in question. It’s unclear who was driving and whether any of the people were related. The driver was identified as Dennis.

Following a gunshot in the City of South Fulton on Friday, a 41-year-old man passed away. At 5:30 p.m., a house on Mancha Street, in a neighborhood off of Old National Highway, was the scene of a shooting. After a tractor-trailer and a pick-up truck collided, leaving the truck in parts and the driver strapped into his seat in the middle of the road, one person was taken to the hospital. This crash occured in the area of Griswold Road. According to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office, the tractor-trailer collided with the pick-up truck because the driver failed to yield at the stop sign as the truck was traveling east.
