A 15th Alabama football player has entered the transfer portal, and 10th since the season ended on Monday night in the Rose Bowl.
Linebacker Ian Jackson, of Prattville, entered the transfer portal on Thursday night. Chris Hummer and Matt Zenitz of 247Sports reported the news.
Jackson, a redshirt sophomore, appeared in three games on special teams, making one tackle last fall against Mississippi State. Jackson did not make an appearance in UA’s 14-game season. Instead, the defense centered on Deontae Lawson (who’s set to return) at linebacker.
