Dale Morgan hasn’t returned to his home since he left for work Wednesday morning, but he knows it’s no longer there.
His house in Paradise, Calif., was among the nearly 10,000 destroyed in the deadly Camp Fire, one of the major wildfires still burning in the state.
“I haven’t been to the ashes of my home,” Morgan said. “I’ve only seen pictures, but I know it’s gone.”Everything Morgan owns was destroyed except for his car and tickets to see the Dallas Cowboys play the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving at AT&T Stadium — a game he still plans to attend.
