Today’s report: Man killed in Corinth farm truck crash has been identified

The man who died in the weekend farm tractor collision in Corinth has been named. The Penobscot County Sheriff’s Office reports that at approximately 4:25 p.m. on Saturday, Richard Smith, 73, of Exeter, was operating a farm truck on Beans Mill Road when he lost control of the vehicle close to the intersection with Exeter Road. The truck struck a stand of trees, throwing Smith to the passenger side of the car. Between the passenger side and a tree, he found himself stuck. Prior to suffering brain injuries in the collision, he might have experienced a medical incident.
