Woman dead after car crashed into ditch in Shively

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — A woman is dead after a crash in Shively on Friday, according to Sergeant Jordan Brown with the Shively Police Department.

He said around 10:15 p.m. officers responded to I-264 East near mile marker eight about.

When they got there they found a car in a ditch.

The driver of the car, a woman in her 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into the cause is ongoing.
