A house on Park Place in Lynchburg Friday morning was involved in a fire that its occupants were safely able to escape, the Lynchburg Fire Department said.
Firefighters were able to contain the blaze just to one bedroom from the house the people were able to exit.

Three adults, three children and two dogs were all able to get out of the house safely.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, LFD said, and the American Red Cross is helping its inhabitants.
