Dead bodies found in Meadville creek by three kayakers, police investigating

The man was discovered dead in French Creek on Thursday, not far from the Meadville Area Sewer Authority. Crawford County police are currently conducting an investigation. Three kayakers paddling on French Creek discovered the man’s body on Thursday afternoon shortly after 2:30 p.m., according to the Meadville Tribune.

According to Crawford County Coroner Eric Coston, there didn’t seem to be any indications of foul play or injuries. He continued by saying that it was unclear how long the man might have been in the water at the moment.
