A hiker in China is fortunate to be alive after he plunged down a mountainside and managed to record the amazing moment he was saved on camera.
On Monday, Yang Meng, 42, and a friend went hiking with a 360-degree camera in the Fanzengjian mountains in southeast China. Typhoon Bebinca had caused days of intense rain to fall on Anhui province, where the two had hiked. The 42-year-old hiker lost his grip and plummeted down the mountainside as he and his friend ascended an especially steep and slick patch of rock. “I realized I couldn’t get up at all and was sliding faster and faster, that’s when it hit me – I must be falling off a cliff,” Yang told CNN, recalling the heartstopping moment.
