Sadly, Head-on crash in Oconto County kills one, injures 3

A 51-year-old Lake Tomahawk woman was killed on Sunday in a head-on collision on Highway 32 in Mountain. The victim and the other three occupants of the Subaru SUV were struck by a Chevrolet SUV that had crossed the center line and was traveling north in the southbound lane, according to the Oconto County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies discovered the Subaru in a west ditch with significant damage when they arrived. The woman passed away before she could be brought to a hospital, and passengers were stuck. Both the driver, a 15-year-old girl, and the other passenger, a 54-year-old man, were transported to a medical facility from Lake Tomahawk.

A thirty-year-old Fond du Lac guy was operating the Chevrolet that was in the incorrect lane. He was brought to the hospital as well. The degree of their injuries is unknown, and the identities of those involved in the collision have not been released.
