Grossberg, who represents District 30 in Central Louisville, has been under investigation by the Legislative Ethics Commission since July, when a flurry of allegations involving inappropriate text messages to women and improper business dealings came to light.

After the initial allegations, House Democratic Leadership suspended Grossberg from the House Democratic Caucus and leadership followed up by removing him from all of his interim committees as well.

Kentucky Young Democrats have also been critical of Grossberg. The group publicly requested his resignation on Aug. 1, saying that “several members of our organization have come to us with their own stories detailing Rep. Grossberg’s inappropriate behavior towards them.”
