The Clarkstown Police Department said that three women were hurt in an early-morning gunshot outside CY’s Restaurant and Lounge on Route 59 on Saturday. At about 3:05 a.m., officers were called to the location in response to reports of gunfire. When officers arrived, they discovered an adult female with gunshot wounds to her abdomen and leg laying on the ground in front of the business. She received rapid medical attention from Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and police, after which they took her to Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Two more adult female victims of the incident, it was discovered after more inquiry, had driven themselves to Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Both females suffered leg gunshot wounds. None of the injuries are thought to be life-threatening, according to the officials.
