Breaking: DollyWood Crews Readying Park For Exciting 2024 Season

On Thursday, media representatives had the opportunity to see firsthand the development of The Dolly Parton Experience, which is slated to debut later this spring, as well as several off-season building projects that prioritise the comfort of Dollywood visitors.

Following a record-breaking 2023 season, Dollywood Parks & Resorts is preparing for another big year. In addition to adding Big Bear Mountain, which was later crowned the world’s Best New Family Coaster, the park last year increased its hotel options with the October launch of Dollywood’s HeartSong Lodge & Resort, which is currently included as one of National Geographic’s “Hotels We Love in 2024.”

The Dollywood Company isn’t content to sit back and relax; in May, it will introduce the multifaceted Dolly Parton Experience along with a number of new, guest-friendly features and an extended operating schedule that will include 23 extra running days, or 357 operating hours, for the 2024 season! After adding 21 extra working days to the 2023 calendar in contrast to the 2022 season, the Dollywood theme park’s schedule now has 281 operating days for 2024. Season Passholder Day is on Friday, March 8, and the first day of public operations is on Saturday, March 9. This marks the park’s opening one week ahead of schedule in 2023. The goal of all the endeavours and schedule adjustments has been to accommodate Dollywood visitors.
