Red Bull will not make any driver changes during the Formula One summer break, according to several reports. Daniel Ricciardo will drive for Visa Cash App RB for the rest of the 2024 season, while Sergio Perez will remain at Red Bull Racing.
The company’s senior brass, including team principal Christian Horner and motorsport advisor Helmet Marko, reportedly gathered Monday at the Milton Keynes, England, plant to consider the futures of both F1 pilots. Ricciardo, 35, is 13th in the F1 driver standings after 14 races, including three top ten finishes. Perez, 34, is ranked seventh after 14 events, with 11 top-10 performances and six top-fives.
There had been talk that Ricciardo’s Red Bull teammate, Yuki Tsunoda, was being considered for a promotion to the squad.
