Los Angeles Lakers still interested in trading for crucial role player, NBA Champion.

After being defeated in the first round of the NBA Playoffs, the Los Angeles Lakers fired Darvin Ham, signalling that their performance last season was simply inadequate. This led to a summer of optimism for fans, with Lakers trade rumours speculating on a big addition. However, a significant roster transfer never occurred.

Bruce Brown, a Toronto Raptors guard and forward, has been connected to the Los Angeles Lakers since last season. With the Raptors obviously ready for a rebuild after losing OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam, and Fred VanVleet in the last year, having an expensive 27-year-old role player may not make much sense, even if he is excellent at his job. However, Brown’s deal is about to expire for $27 million, and many teams, including the Lakers, may regard this as a significant asset. Not to mention the versatile former NBA Champion’s on-court contributions. Meanwhile, Brett Siegel of Clutch Points reports that the Lakers are interested in trading for Brown again.
