NRL great Benji Marshall has broken his silence after joining the Wests Tigers on an “unprecedented” coaching deal.

 

Marshall has signed a five-year deal that will see him spend the next two seasons working as an assistant under Tim Sheens, before taking over as head coach in 2025.

 

Another club great in Robbie Farah has also been named as an assistant under Sheens for the next two years.

 

The Tigers haven’t played finals since 2011 but Marshall declared he can turn thing around alongside Sheens – who was sacked by the club in 2012.
