BREAKING: Social media brutally reacts to Sooners walk-off win over…….

The Oklahoma Sooners’ 6-5 extra-innings victory against the Florida Gators exemplified perseverance. The Oklahoma Sooners fell behind 2-0, 4-2, and 5-2 before starting to chip away in the late stages of the game, setting up another magical moment in Sooners softball history. Jayda Coleman had an opportunity to tie the game for the Sooners a couple innings earlier but failed to do so. She was given another chance to lead off the bottom of the eighth inning and delivered with a walk-off solo home run, propelling the Sooners back to the Women’s College World Series championship.

Kelly Maxwell was also resilient, giving up five runs in the opening three innings before rallying to keep the Gators scoreless in the final five frames to claim her 22nd win of the season. Ella Parker contributed three RBIs to the victory, and Cydney Sanders homered for the second time in the Women’s College World Series after not doing so since the middle of April. With the win, the Sooners advance to the Women’s College World Series Championship, where they will face the Texas Longhorns for a chance to win their fourth consecutive national championship. It was a victory that will be remembered forever after Oklahoma lost to Florida on Monday and had to fight back.
