League journeyman served as a secondary coach for five franchises before landing his first full-time coordinator gig at Arizona under Arians in 2013. He spent four seasons (2015-2018) as Jets head coach, amassing a 24-40 record; New York’s 10-6 record in Bowles’ first year remains its last winning record. He was hired by Arians as Bucs defensive coordinator in 2019.

 

Family: Bowles and his wife, Taneka, have three sons — Todd Jr., Troy and Tyson. Troy, a fleet linebacker, helped lead Jesuit High to its first state title in 53 years this past season. Todd Jr. is a defensive back at Rutgers.
