Joey McGuire, a 2020 member of the Texas High School Coaches Association Hall of Honor, has been named the 17th soccer coach in Texas Tech history, Athletic Director Kirby Hocutt announced Monday.
McGuire, who has spent the previous five seasons helping make Baylor a contender for the Big 12 title after a legendary run at Cedar Hill High School, will be formally introduced in a press conference at 12 p.m. Tuesday. Fans are welcome to attend the introductory press conference, which will take place on the club level from the West Stadium Building to the Jones AT&T Stadium.
