With Shawn Clark as the team’s head coach, App State has yet to suffer a losing season. The Mountaineers have reached three bowl games in the past four years during his tenure, and he also helped them win at least a share of four Sun Belt Championships before that as an assistant.
App State is in a good position as a program under Clark’s leadership and should continue to be one of the top Group of Five squads going into 2024.
