Florida’s ORLANDO There isn’t a better way for Andrea to end her career as a cheerleader for the Minnesota Vikings.

Andrea cheered for the Vikings at the NFL Youth Flag Football Tournament, Thursday night Skills Challenge, NFC team practices, and Sunday’s Pro Bowl Games finale at Camping World Stadium, among cheerleaders from clubs throughout the league for the 2024 NFL Pro Games.

Andrea remarked, “It was an incredible experience.”

The coaches of the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders (MVC) choose one team member to go to the league’s all-star game every year. After the MVC’s pregame practice on December 24, Andrea was taken aback when Alex, the Pro Bowl MVC from the previous year, broke the news to her.

Andrea, a native of Minnesota, still finds it hard to believe that she has spent the last seven years actually being a part of MVC.

She also questions whether her goal would have ever come true in the absence of her parents and, most importantly, her spouse.

“You have to go and do this,” my now-husband Joe told me when I was too frightened to try out for the team. You’ve been talking about it for years, I think. “I know you won’t regret trying out, and I’ll drive you to this prep class and help you get through this,” Andrea recalls.
