But Piero Ferrari, who is the team’s vice chairman and a son of company founder Enzo, is convinced that it will work out. The 78-year-old is “personally very happy” about Hamilton’s arrival and believes the seven-time World Champion is a “perfect match” for Ferrari.

Hamilton is excited about the possibility of joining a new group. “I’m eager to see what I can contribute to this new opportunity and what we can accomplish together,” he declared.
But I’m not thinking about 2025 at this time. My thoughts are on the forthcoming season and getting Mercedes back on track. I want to help Mercedes win again, and I am more motivated, fitter, and more focused than ever.
