Leeds United is set to begin contract negotiations, with a £17.1 million player available for a summer move.

After the January transfer window closed, Leeds United signed Connor Roberts on a loan from Burnley, completing one addition to Daniel Farke’s roster. It is anticipated that the full-back will make his Elland Road debut when the Whites play Rotherham United.

Naturally, Roberts is not eligible for Tuesday night’s FA Cup replay in the fourth round. The Yorkshire Evening Post has compiled some of the most notable transfer rumors ahead of that match at Plymouth Argyle.

According to rumors, Leeds United is prepared to start contract negotiations with Jamie Shackleton in the upcoming months. Despite being in and out of Daniel Farke’s lineup this season, Shackleton has demonstrated his value to the team by playing a variety of roles that have allowed him to be versatile and dependable.

The 24-year-old native’s current contract is set to expire at the end of the current campaign, but the Whites are reportedly eager to extend it to him in the hopes that he will stay. Shackleton could be in for another on Tuesday night against the Pilgrims. This season, he has made 13 appearances for the Whites, including two starts in the FA Cup.

Since his debut in 2018, the Hemsworth-born midfielder has played in 92 professional games while wearing white, scoring two goals.
