Hodgson believes the criticism is unjustified and that, in light of Parish’s contributions to the team, critical supporters’ memories should be jogged. He also believes that the club’s Premier League standing is crucial.
When questioned about the banners criticizing the club’s board, Hodgson told Sky Sports, “I think Steve Parish has done a fantastic job for the club.”

“As someone who works for Steve Parish and the club, I personally believe it is extremely harsh that people are blaming him for our loss to Brighton by putting banners in that manner.”
Hodgson is still under pressure at Crystal Palace as a result of Selhurst Park’s ongoing dismal performance.
