In a statement announcing the promotions on Friday, Moore said, “Kirk and Grant are two bright offensive minds.” They have made significant contributions to our offensive team and will continue to do so in their new positions. Kirk and Grant are eager to assume more responsibility in our offense as they continue to work with our athletes to support their growth both on and off the field.

Moore was elevated from offensive coordinator to head coach one week prior to the changes. Moore succeeds Harbaugh, who inked a five-year contract to lead the Los Angeles Chargers of the NFL.

In 2022, Campbell was employed as an analyst at Michigan following two seasons as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Old Dominion. From 2017 to 2019, he also worked as an offensive analyst for Penn State.
