Matt Citak: Joe Schoeated unequivocally that the Giants plan to bolster theirn has st quarterback position in the offseason, either by drafting picks or free agency. There will be some intriguing alternatives if they want to go with the draft. The top three quarterbacks, Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, and Jayden Daniels, could very well be selected in the first three rounds of the draft. This would leave the Giants with a selection from the next group of quarterbacks, whether they are selected later in the first round or earlier. It will be intriguing to watch what the Washington Commanders do with their quarterback situation during the offseason.

In his first season as the starter, Sam Howell occasionally displayed his skills, but with Washington holding the No. 2 pick in the draft, there is now an opportunity to potentially select its next franchise quarterback.

Drake Maye of North Carolina and Jayden Daniels of LSU are the two players that have surfaced in a number of mock drafts lately. Compared to Howell, who led the Commanders to a 4-13 record while throwing for 3,946 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions, either quarterback may be considered an improvement.

Things are changing in Washington with Josh Harris as the new owner and Adam Peters as the new general manager.
