SAD NEWS: One of the New York Giants’ players is hurt….

New York Giants insider claims team hired Brian

It seems the recent stories about New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll’s growing issues with his coaching staff may be a situation the organization likely knew was possible when they hired him two years ago.

The Giants are in the early stages of their offseason but they are battling some drama inside the organization. During the season there was rumbling of a schism between their head coach and former defensive coordinator Don “Wink’ Martindale. That seemed to be confirmed when the veteran coordinator resigned in frustration earlier this month.

But according to recent accounts, Daboll and his coaching staff had other challenges in addition to Martindale’s problems. According to reports, the head coach of the Giants has a reputation among his employees for being a guy who likes to assign blame and deflect responsibility for the team’s shortcomings.

Some members of the coaching staff have even gone so far as to caution other coaches not to accept positions under the former offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills.

Although the disclosures shocked New York supporters, many in the NFL don’t seem to be surprised by them. This week, SNY NFL writer Connor Hughes disclosed that Brian Daboll’s bad reputation from his tenures as an offensive coordinator with the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns hindered him head coach prospects in the past several years.

“I spoke with individuals who were aware of problems in Cleveland during his tenure as offensive coordinator there. The same intensity and erratic behavior,” Hughes stated in a radio interview with WFAN in New York. “Keep in mind that Daboll underwent multiple coaching cycles before to being hired. They wanted him to address some of the concerns that came up throughout those coaching cycles and coaching interviews.
