SOURCES: LEEDS UNITED OPEN TO SELLING WINGER AS WEST HAM CONSIDER APPROACH

espite looking promising for the Yorkshire side, the Italian forward has just one goal and one assist in 20 EFL Championship games for Leeds.

Sources have confirmed that the Yorkshire side are now more open to the possibility of losing the Italian forward this month, despite their firm reticence that he wasn’t for sale in the summer.

It’s our understanding that several Italian sides are keen on Gnonto with AS Roma, AC Milan, Napoli, Lazio and Atalanta declaring their interest in the forward.

The deal would only be a loan at this moment in time and the Yorkshire side, as mentioned, would be open to the sale of Gnonto but it is unclear if they would sanction a move if it was just a loan deal.

Gnonto did well in the Premier League hence multiple sides’ interest last summer as he netted six goals and provided five assists in 45 games for the Yorkshire side.

Well, perhaps one of the reasons behind Leeds’ potential willingness to allow the Italian to leave is that they are looking at the possibility of bringing Brendan Aaronson back to Elland Road.
