Colten Brewer was lucky enough to experience the rivalry from each side and recently announced on Instagram that he has found a landing spot in the National League with another storied franchise

“Excited to be joining the (Chicago) Cubs for the 2024 season,” Brewer wrote on Instagram. “Thankful for every second I get to play this game. I’ll see y’all in AZ for Spring Training can’t wait!”

Brewer had a 4.32 ERA with a four-to-three strikeout-to-walk ratio, .200 batting average against and a 1.08 WHIP in 8 1/3 innings pitched across three games for the Yankees last season.

The 31-year-old has spent most of his career in minor league systems, with the bulk of his time in the major league coming from the 2019 season in Boston where he took the mound in 58 games.
