Milwaukee Bucks Star Sounds Off on Upcoming After Tough Loss on…

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped the 38th triple-double of his career on Monday night. It was all for nothing, though, as the Indiana Pacers secured an impressive 122-113 victory at the Fiserv Forum to improve to 3-1 against the Bucks this season.

The good news for Milwaukee is that they get a shot at some revenge when they battle the Pacers again at Indiana on Wednesday.

You knew the Bucks would be fired up to start this one off, and that was exactly the case. Fueled by numerous scoring runs, Milwaukee quickly ramped up a double-digit lead thanks to well-balanced scoring. Giannis led the way in the opening frame with ten points, carrying the Bucks to a 32-25 lead after one.

That lead evaporated in the second quarter, as Indiana stuck their foot in the door and kept things quite competitive. They’d gain enough momentum to storm back and take a lead midway through the frame. The Bucks would right the ship though before intermission, owning a 62-56 lead after two.

Tyrese Haliburton’s scoring started to come alive in the third quarter, facilitating the Pacers’ offense. It helped them stay well within reach, as the Bucks’ lead dwindled down to four at 88-84 going into the fourth quarter.

The fourth quarter was a back-and-forth contest, with each team landing punches on one another. However, a scoring drought did the Bucks in, leaving the door open for Indiana to take advantage — which is exactly what they did. Tyrese Haliburton had no problem sealing the game for the visitors, and the Pacers ended up escaping with a 122-113 win.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks in scoring with a triple-double of 30 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists. Those 30 points were also a game-high. Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez each contributed with 21 points of their own.

Tyrese Haliburton was the main guy for the Pacers, finishing a rebound shy of a triple-double and 26 points. Bennedict Mathurin was a force off the bench, totaling 25 points on the evening.
