Milwaukee Bucks Coach Adrian Griffin Reveals Huge Benefit of Extended Stay in

Wednesday night’s bout against the Brooklyn Nets will be the third time the Milwaukee Bucks will be playing in New York in the span of less than a week. Over the course of the last five days, the Bucks have had to battle the New York Knicks twice at the Madison Square Garden, which includes their deflating Christmas Day loss.

The Bucks now hope to end their extended spell in the Big Apple with a win as they take on a shorthanded Nets side at the Barclays Center on Wednesday night.

Despite the demands of this current road spell, Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin firmly believes that this has been a beneficial experience for his team. According to Coach Griff, the fact that Milwaukee had to battle the Knicks twice in three days felt like a postseason series:

“This back-to-back was really good for us because that’s what you see in the playoffs,” he said. “Sometimes when you beat a team, then there’s a day between, you gotta be able to make your adjustments. You gotta be able to come back. I knew [Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau] was going to make some adjustments and get his team ready.

“So it’s good, kind of a learning situation for us that we can learn from and get better.”
