IMG Academy five-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton has locked in his decision date for Thursday, and his finalists are being expeditious in making a final push to land the coveted true left tackle talent.
Coaches are on the road and their travel and visits have been altered to try and get in with Seaton and conversations have certainly been hastened.
As the dust starts to settle and Dec. 7 draws near, I like the way this is starting to sound for Tennessee. Seaton loves what Glen Elarbee has done as a position coach with guys like Darnell Wright, and after two visits to Knoxville this fall, he’s enjoyed the atmosphere and likes the trajectory of the program.
Since entering the NCAA Transfer Portal 24 hours ago, Ashton Cozart has been fielding attention from several colleges. The Oregon wide receiver signed with the Ducks in the 2023 class and redshirted this season before deciding to transfer. Double-digit programs have been in contact, but several schools are really starting to heat up.
Among the programs Cozart spoke with, Iowa State, SMU, Texas A&M, Kentucky and Utah have expressed the most interest. Cozart is in the process of researching those programs, talking with the coaches recruiting him and setting up potential visits to those campuses, according to a source close to him. Though he’s still in the fact-finding phase, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him choose a program closer to home.
