Looking at this weeks NFL games to see what the optimal outcomes are for the Cleveland Browns. We did a bonus version to cover the Thanksgiving and Black Friday games, here is the one for the weekend games.

I will be releasing a weekly rooting guide looking at the best outcome of each game for the Cleveland Browns. While a large focus will be on who wins the game and how it impacts the team’s chances of making the playoffs we will also be looking at other factors too.

If the Browns own draft picks from another team then it is in their favor for that team to struggle and result in them picking higher. The final three weeks of the season can really swing the playoff race, some teams will have given up on the season and giving more time to To give you an idea of who is favored in each matchup I will add the current betting line at the time of writing.fringe players.

To set the scene for where the betting market feels the AFC race is going, here are the current rankings for odds to make the playoffs, last week’s odds are in brackets:

This is an analytical look at the playoff race and what happens with each win and loss per SumerSports. They have loads of advanced analytics tools for teams and players.

We don’t want AFC teams being in the mix for the top draft picks and adding good quarterback prospects so rooting for the Patriots and Titans is always a good place to start.

Go Titans!

This game doesn’t matter too much for the Browns as they have such a similar record. I would usually say go for whoever has the better record but I feel Texans are on a better run and so it is more likely to be Jaguars we are battling with for the wildcard spots if we don’t catch the Ravens for the division. So if anything I am leaning towards the Texans here but it is minor. This for me should be the game of the weekend!

This game has massive implications for the draft, a win for the Patriots limits their chances to get a top two pick and a chance to get a franchise altering quarterback, while players drafted high are nice to have they don’t have the ability to drive you to annual success like a quarterback.

This is a dumster fire of a game and the worst part is they are fighting for who might make the playoffs and win the division, I wish the Browns could be traded to the NFC, or XFL as it seems to be for quality.

I can’t say I’m that worried about the Steelers fighting the Cleveland Browns for a playoff spot, they seem to be largely irrelevant. I would like them to put together a decent enough end to the season that they keep going with Kenny for another year. I would love to see nothing more than ten years of 7-9 wins a season as they remain too far away from the top of the draft to get better and not a playoff threat at all.

Another NFC team potentially in the top 10 draft picks, sounds great and good luck with the tank Baker!

The Cardinals have the best show of getting a top three pick out of the pair so good luck to them. Unless they play to trade it to an AFC team in which case they can win out but I am expecting them to draft someone if they finish top two.
