Gone Too Soon Rangers has Announces death Of an Incredible star…..

Struggling to get into Enzo Maresca’s competitive Leicester City side, Harry Souttar has made only two appearances for the club this season.

Speaking whilst on international duty with Australia, it’s a situation the centre-back – who is the brother of Rangers star John Souttar – hopes to remedy.

“I definitely want to stay and fight for my place, for sure,” said Souttar. “Obviously, I know it’s difficult with the results we’ve been having.

“But I’ve had a good couple of conversations with the manager and he knows that whenever he needs me, I’ll be 100 per cent ready.

“They’re flying at the moment, top of the league, so it’s hard to get in. But all I can do is keep my training levels up, keep my fitness levels up, and, when called upon, be ready and hopefully perform well.”

Harry Souttar joined Leicester City from Stoke City in a £15m deal in January whilst the Foxes were still in the Premier League.

Initially signed by now Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, Souttar has found chances at a premium ever since the appointment of ex-Man City coach Maresca.

With Leicester City sitting at the top of the Championship having won 13 of their 16 league games this season, the boyhood Rangers supporter is finding opportunities limited.

Looking ahead to the January transfer window, Ibrox fans might’ve felt that the club would perhaps reignite their loan interest in Harry Souttar.
